Steam-Rolled Oats offer a significant nutritional advantage over whole oats. The steaming process uses heat and moisture to soften the grain before it is passed through heavy rollers. This “pre-digests” the starches, allowing the animal’s digestive enzymes to work more efficiently and absorb more nutrients in the small intestine.
